We are creating kimonos for everyday life.

We are creating kimonos

for everyday life.

We create from Kyotamba, a rural valley in Kyoto where the timeless beauty of Japan remains.

We give thanks to the mountains, tend the rice fields, and live with the gifts of the earth.

Within our daily rhythm, we sense the roots of handmade creation.

This is why creating here feels in harmony with ROGGYKEI’s way of making things.

Our hearts and bodies support the rhythm of daily life. We feel that the clothes we wrap around them hold equal importance.

Clothes that gently embrace both body and mind.

This is what ROGGYKEI means by kimonos for everyday life.

We believe that clothing becomes a gentle bridge, where human bonds are quietly tied together.

UNiform

Clothing expresses many of the essential things that emerge in the relationship between people and society.
Not only for expressing their interests and identity but also for the uniforms at work.
We design uniforms with the belief that clothing has the power to change one’s mindset and bring more meaning to each day’s work.
We design uniforms that bring joy and purpose into your work.
Please feel free to ask any questions.

ABOUT

Our shop is based in Kyotanba-town, the heart of Kyoto.
This country town is rich with nature and spring water. We feel and witness the four seasons.
Our atelier and shop are also here to create our design, putting our passion into our work, and proudly sending our work to the new home.
We feel like there was a reason we ended up coming here to experience the good old days. We learn new things here every single day.
There is the base of clothing, food, and shelter in this town.
