Thanks to everyone, our rice planting festival finished successfully last week.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to this land, to the generations before us, to everyone who continues to support us, to all who participated, and also to @wachi_yasunba for the delicious lunch boxes.

Gathering together with friends and planting rice barefoot for the first time in a long while made for two peaceful and fulfilling days.

The smooth and comforting feeling of the mud, along with the gentle sounds in the rice field, seemed to melt us into an even slower and calmer rhythm.
Before we realized it, thanks to everyone’s help, we had finished planting surprisingly quickly.

That said, rice farming has only just begun.

From the very next day, managing the water channels started, and from here on, frequent weeding will likely become necessary.
