Winter Mochi-pounding Festival for Everyone to Enjoy

This year, we shall hold the ‘Mochi-tsuki Festival’.

I absolutely adore mochi.
Rolling freshly pounded mochi together, grilling it and eating it, savouring its rich aroma and the uniquely chewy texture only freshly pounded mochi can offer. It's utterly delicious and makes us feel so happy.

This year we shall make white rice mochi and brown rice mochi using glutinous rice from Kyōtanba.

It would be a pleasure to learn about Japan's traditions and craftsmanship while connecting with the future.
