Haori Exhibition – Osaka

We sincerely thank everyone who attended the recent Haori Exhibition in Tokyo.

Following Tokyo, we will also hold an event in Osaka.

The history of the haori began with the outer garments worn by nobles and samurai during the Heian period.
During the Edo period, it spread as formal attire for samurai, eventually becoming ceremonial wear and everyday clothing for townspeople.
Over time, the haori became beloved as everyday attire for both men and women.

May this haori gently envelop your body and evoke the spirit of Japanese tradition.
